My name is Andy Harber.
At 14 years old my life savings of $375 purchased a 1959 Chevrolet Pickup Truck. Within 2 weeks there was a disaster, a blown engine, which set me upon the precipice of deciding the future of my life’s work. The question: Would I take the loss and see my life savings evaporate away or could I leverage my budding mechanical aptitude to figure out how to recover the investment as best as possible? A few odd jobs later, there was enough money for me to rebuild an engine and enjoy "Brutus" for quite a few years.
In retrospect, the exposure to my predicament was primarily due to a lack of patience and experience, but no matter, this is the situation that I found myself in...block & tackling out was learned very early in my career.
Many business entrepreneurs find themselves in any number of crisis situations. They have invested significant resources only to find themselves punctured by the horns of a dilemma. Businesses are under constant pressure to remain solvent or expand offerings, ever looking for a faster, cheaper, better ways to get things done.
Ever since that first opportunity over 50 years ago, experience after experience has shaped my ability to develop solutions. It began with a thought. Over the years I have learned how to journey through careful exploration of causes, effects, alternatives and evaluation of the skills and resources available for a best-value recovery planning. There are very few situations that are truly hopeless. It is my goal to help as many people as possible find the best value solution to whatever challenge they may find themselves in.
